Fuel UK does not require an account and does not collect personal information.
If you choose to use the "locate me" feature, your device's location is used only to centre the map on your position. It is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers or stored by us.
The app downloads publicly available UK fuel price data. This does not involve sending any personal or device information — it's a one-way download of station and price data only.
When the app connects to check for updated information, the servers involved automatically record technical details of the request — including the IP address it came from, the time, and the amount of data sent. This is standard for any internet service. These details are used only to keep things running reliably, to understand overall usage levels, and to diagnose faults. They are stored on their own, never combined with anything else, and deleted after 14 days. We do not attempt to identify anyone, build profiles, or track people between sessions, and we never share them.
This app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and does not share any data with third parties.
If this changes in a future update (for example, if we add anonymous analytics), this policy will be updated to describe it accurately, and the update will be reflected in the app's App Store privacy details.
